Feeling Stressed? Add a little yin to your life!

Yin yoga is a non-muscle bearing practice that is a great complement to yang (flow or vinyasa) yoga. By letting gravity do the work rather than our muscles, we can relax deeper into the postures (asanas) for longer periods of time. This allows us to hold the asanas for anywhere from 4-12 minutes, giving us a deep stretch in the connective tissues of the body. This practice greatly increases flexibility and joint mobility. This workshop is for beginners and advanced students alike and will leave us feeling relaxed, renewed, and rejuvenated with a greater awareness of our bodies.
