Breath work has been the biggest change- my practice is moved by my breath; not the other way around.

I decided to do the training because Raven’s class helped me through a very difficult time in my life in 2015.  I wanted to spread that same love to others through the practice of yoga.
My favorite part of this experience is definitely a tie between the friendships I made and the alignment I gained from connecting to my spirituality. My favorite thing I learned was Energy work!
My most valuable takeaways are: Mindfulness is the gate to happiness.  The 7 Spiritual Laws of Yoga homework assignment was extremely eye-opening.
I am looking to learning more about experimenting with more diffuser flows, poses and different styles of yoga asana.

This training has completely changed my perspective! It’s been a full 180!  I feel at a place of peace and acceptance for that which happens to and around me. My intuition and clairvoyance have heightened.  I am more comfortable with the unknown and therefore can connect more deeply with spiritual aspects of my life. I see myself using my training, in my Personal yoga and self-love programs, retreats, in everyday life, and parenthood! 🙂

My biggest piece of advice for anyone interested in joining this program?
Do it!  It’s not just about teaching. YTT is an amazing opportunity for self-growth.  Once in; immerse yourself in it, live in alignment with what you are learning and allow yourself to feel.
This training has changed my personal practice,
I can flow through my asana practice more freely and with more compassion.  Breath work has been the biggest change- my practice is moved by my breath; not the other way around. And of course, the meditation aspect is so much deeper because of all of it.
