What was your favorite part of this YTT experience? I loved the array of different modalities we explored throughout the course.

What was the most valuable lesson learned? There are natural Ayurvedic remedies I can use daily to improve my overall health.

What are you looking forward to learning more about? I enjoyed the class sessions focused on anatomy. I hope to expand my understanding of the body and learn more modifications for students with injuries or other limitations.

Did this YTT shift your perspective in a positive way and in what way? This YTT opened my eyes to many different aspects of yoga that I hadn’t explored before.

Do you plan on teaching classes now and where would you ideally like to teach, what level, & what demographic? Ideally, I’d like to teach a class at my local YMCA or any nearby yoga studio or fitness center. While I prefer accessible Ashtanga, I’m open to teaching whatever is needed. I feel my training was well-rounded, and I am confident that I could teach several popular styles of yoga.

What is your advice for anyone wanting to do this training? Try to clear your schedule and attend every class. There is flexibility if you need to miss a weekend or two, but it’s in your best interest to soak up all the information and enjoy all the experiences presented.
