ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Kathryn Geib.   Always active and wiggly, Kathryn began dancing as a child and ultimately danced professionally in New York City, but gave it up to raise her two children.  Yearning for more, Kathryn became an attorney in 1991 and played squash for fun and stress reduction.  The squash club also offered yoga and Kathryn was immediately attracted to it thus starting her journey as a yogini in the mid ‘90s.  In 2014, Kathryn retired after 23 years of law practice and immediately started the Inspirit Yoga Studio teacher training program to begin this beautiful new phase of her life.  A practicing Buddhist for more than 5 years, Kathryn has led meditation sessions for several years and enjoys assisting others in bringing stillness to their minds and happiness to their hearts. Kathryn is a 200 hour RYT and is also certified as a chair yoga instructor.  Her passion is to help those who may not feel able to take a “regular” yoga class to find new physical strength, increased flexibility and better balance, while simultaneously feeding the soul with peace of mind.
